These companies manufacture thousands of compact ovens every year and have hundreds of thousands already in use WORLD-Wide, most of which are used in fast food outlets and brewery chains. Thousands are breaking down on a regular basis due to the lack of correct cleaning procedures. They obviously become the prime target for the liner where obviating down time (due to oven damage), reducing expensive repair costs, improving hygiene standards and making cleaning quick, efficient and simple, (these are all powerful market drivers). The manufacturers themselves could promote the liner with new sales as it helps to increase the reliability of their products.
The market, being global, is dominated by Far Eastern manufacturers, a major British manufacturer, and an American manufacturer (responsible for both Amana & Manumaster microwaves). To exploit this market, a new company, Cavity Protection Systems Limited, was formed to hold the Intellectual Property, trade marks and copyright.
The Intellectual Property Design is protected by patents(3013382 & 3019487) applications are also filed worldwide (International Patent Application No. PCT/GB03/003411) and was further strengthened by design, trade mark registrations and copyright under the supervision of Nigel Brooks, Chartered Patent Agent, Patersfield. Further assistnace was supplied by Scientist David Nicholas MBE.
The Base Design
The base design not only gives greater rigidity to the system, but keeps over 50% of the food being cooked off the base which encourages air circulation underneath the cooking dish helping to keep the container cool.
The photograph on page one shows how simple it is to insert and replace the Cavity Protection System in the Sharp range of medium to high powered commerical microwaves keeping the cavity clean, free from grease and food particle deposits.
Easily washed in the
pot wash or non-caustic using dishwasher; dried and
placed back into the microwave cavity it is then ready
for the next session.
Helping to stop cross contamination With each Cavity Protection system a box of 250 special sized Silicon Sheets (Illustrated) are provided.
Simply attach the box to the side of your microwave oven, remove one sheet form the box, place it on the bottom of the Cavity Protection System and place the dish of food onto the sheet after cooking/reheating, remove the dish and leave the Silicon sheet inside the cavity for re-use. Should spillage occur whilst cooking, after removing the food, simply throw away the contaminated Silicon sheet and replace it with a new one from the box, this will help avoid cross contamination of smells and tate.
The speical Silicon sheets can be used in Microwave ovens with or without the Cavity Protection System.
Cavity Protection Systems, Ltd. has created and developed an easily removable and replaceable plastic liner for commercial microwave ovens to facillatete easy cleaning. The liner cna be removed, cleaned, (for example in dishwashers) and replaced in the oven, keeping the cavity clean as well as helping to avoid costly repairs and down time. It also incorporates a specially designed base and when used with the sillicone insert, helps to stop crosscontamination between foods.
Cavity Protection Systems Limted was formed to hold the patents, trademarks, design and copyright fo the cavity protection liner. It is owned and controlled equally by directos Patrick Bray, Barry Clark, Alex Grant and Nigel Barker. Patrick and Barry are the inventors of this unique yet simple liner, they drew on their extensive experience, being also the directors of Regale Microwave, a compnay built up over the last 22 years by Patrick. |
